Jonathan Hindson was born in Johannesburg and moved to France at age 11.
He studied art at the Ecole des Beaux Arts de Bordeaux.
After that, he learnt 3D imagery and digital image processing and gradually integrated them into his artistic process.
He has had numerous exhibitions and done residencies in France and internationaly, notably in South Africa or in Palestine.
His work is generaly centered on the representations of memory, but he has also done large commissioned projects for various institutions in France.
